Soong joins Campos Racing in Beijing
A possible participation in Macau
Hong Kong racer Michael John Soong has joined the Campos Racing team for the WTCC event in Beijing.
Soong will be at the wheel of a SEAT León in the TC2T class, just like last year when he made his maiden WTCC appearance at Macau.
The 34-year old driver, whose Chinese name is Jancheng Song, was crowned Hong Kong Touring Car champion in 2009 and since 2008 has been a regular competitor in the China Touring Car Championship in which he claimed two race wins.
He is been a member of the Dongfeng Yueda KIA factory team in CTCC since 2012.
Soong and Campos Racing are currently negotiating about his possible participation in Macau.
