The WTCC competitors joined their fellow colleagues from other car racing series in paying a tribute to the unfortunate Jules Bianchi.

Today, before the qualifying session at Shanghai International Circuit, drivers and team members posed for a group picture waving red scarves in support of the young French driver who is still lying in a coma following his horrific accident during last week’s Formula One Japanese Grand Prix.

Red is the colour that Bianchi’s fans and well-wishers have chosen to post messages and photos on social media in support of Jules and his family. The logo with the message “Tous avec Jules” created by Bianchi’s F1 colleague Jean-Eric Vergne is also sported by all WTCC cars at Shanghai.
