Tom Coronel to miss France
Coronel will rejoin the championship in Hungary
Tom Coronel will be forced to miss this weekend’s WTCC Race of France at Le Castellet’s Circuit Paul Ricard.
The Dutchman’s Chevrolet RML Cruze car suffered from extensive damage in the crash at the start of the second race at Marrakech last Sunday. Damage that cannot be repaired in time for the French event.
ROAL Motorsport Team Principal Roberto Ravaglia confirmed today that: “The wrecked car is currently on its way to Le Castellet; there it will be collected by a RML crew and transported to the RML workshop in England, where it will be rebuilt.”
Coronel will rejoin the championship at the third event, in Hungary.
